托福写作高分秘籍丨从综合写作中学习句子之间的关系

托福写作并不只是要求学生不停地输出，而是要求学生有条理地进行输出。这就要求学生能准确地呈现出句子之间的逻辑关系并优化句式。综合写作的阅读与听力部分为学生提供了很好的范例，示范了写作中必备的语法句式与句子之间的逻辑关系。

综合写作中的高分句式

1.with的伴随状语

1)The Chaco structures were purely residential, with each housing hundreds of people. 句子1可以还原成并列结构的两个句子：The Chaco structures were purely residential, and each houses hundreds of people. 为了提高句子的简洁性，利用with +doing的形式就可以有效地提升句子之间的结构。

2)Unfortunately for birds, these trends are likely to continue, with the result that the number of birds in the United States will necessarily decline.句子2可以还原成因果关系的两个句：these trends are likely to continue. As a result, the number of birds in the United States will necessarily decline. 利用with the result+ that引导同位语从句，保留了因果关系的同时也表现了句子中的多样性。

2.名词性从句

在名词性从句中，主语从句与同位语从句是学生应用比较少一些的句式。在写作中如果可以把主语从句等应用得宜，句式的多样性也是可以得到很好地表现。

1）That no scrolls were found inside the jars can be explained by the fact that the scrolls simply disintegrated over the centuries. 这是一个典型的主语从句与同位语从句相结合的句子。在写主语从句时，一定要注意从句信号词的使用，比如信号词在从句中是否做成分以及信号词在从句是否翻译等。类似的结构还包括what strikes me first is that …; what cannot be neglected is that….

2）The fact that humpback whales happen to be intelligent does not make them particularly likely to use stars for navigation. 此句子可以转化成humpback whales happen to be intelligent, and this does not make them particularly likely to use stars for navigation. 当前句能成为后句中的主语或宾语等，那么前句可以换转为that或疑问词的主语从句，宾语从句或同位语从句，例如that humpback whales happen to be intelligent does not make them particularly likely to use stars for navigation，即为主语从句。

综合写作中的逻辑关系词


综合写作中除了为学生们示范了大量的句子结构，比如定语从语，名词性从句，状语从语等，也给出常用逻辑信号语来明确句子之间的逻辑关系，例如

1. 承接关系：therefore, thus, hence, accordingly, consequently….
2. 并列关系：first, next, then…; for one thing, for anther…;…
3. 转折关系：however, nevertheless, nonetheless, in contrast, otherwise….
4. 递进关系：also, further, furthermore, moreover, in addition…..

注意观察此类逻辑信号词前后的内容关系，掌握好什么样的内容为并列，什么样的内容为递进，再准确地使用逻辑信号词，自然就能帮助学生更快速也更容易地分析出上下文的关系，也就能更轻松地保证逻辑方面的分数啦。

要想提高写作方面的分数，除了要积累好单词并准确使用单词，句子方面的积累与提升也是必不可少的。所以，综合写作中的阅读与听力不仅仅是考题的一个部分，也是同学们在分析句子关系，优化句子结构方面的重要材料！
